Vos responsabilités

The Applications Asset Manager is responsible for ensuring continuity and guaranteeing the quality of the Applications, as well as managing the Application system maintenance activities as follows:

  • ensure the proper functioning of applications and that they can be maintained and upgraded
  • propose methods to increase optimization and efficiency, to ensure the applications can be technically upgraded
  • apply the guidelines of the obsolescence management plan
  • deploy the continuity of service action plan, which includes Disaster Recovery and Live Play

Job Description:

  • Guarantees the proper functioning of applications and that they can be maintained and upgraded
    • Responsible for addressing recurring incidents by working with relevant teams to recommend permanent solutions. Ensures long-term remediation for incidents and problems is integrated into the Application roadmap and implemented.
    • Ensures the Application Sensitivity and IT Continuity document is properly and promptly completed and is timely renewed as stipulated by Group requirements.
    • Ensures non-compliance to IT risk & cyber requirements are addressed or remediated, and the associated risks are identified and covered by risk card if necessary.
    • Ensures application and security vulnerabilities and non-compliance to engineering and architecture rules are addressed or remediated, and the associated risks are identified and covered by risk card if necessary.
    • Complies with and ensures the application of best practices regarding engineering rules, CI/CD, architecture rules, and safety standards.
    • Manage the lifecycle of applications and its components according to the guidelines of the obsolescence management plan.
    • Suppliers’ Management - maintains Suppliers' Relationship, Suppliers’ compliance to contractual obligations and Third Party Risk Management assessment
    • Applications/New Releases versions control and updates in Relman (Release Manager tool).
    • Ensures the consistency of the released version: updated documentation such as architecture diagram, and technical data dictionary; management of the configuration to ensure data consistency in all referential apps (e.g., Refapp, MAP, CMDB, BAM+, cloud register) and accuracy in the application parent/instance links between referential apps.
    • Receives new versions and releases, and making sure up-to-date product documentation and troubleshooting guides are provided.
  • Reports and alerts management of Applications
    • Report on the overall state of application/s, alerts stakeholders the risks the application/s is exposed to, together with their mitigation, to the Application review committee.
    • Reports and alerts regarding deadlines, budgets, and resources to carry out the action plan for the applications.
  • Proposes preventive action plans and areas for improvement to increase optimization and efficiency
  • Deploys the continuity of service action plan for Optimisation

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in the Banking industry (MUST HAVE)
  • At least 2 years of experience in Wealth Management
  • At least 2 years of experience in creating Architecture diagrams, with a strong analysis of networks, applications, and integration points
  • Technical hands-on experience in Postgres SQL, Linux/AS400, IBM Cloud, Apache, JBoss, MQ messaging, Kafka messaging, HTTP RESY APIs, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, MicroServices Architecture, Container Managed Solutions
