About the role

Job Description:

  • Contribute to Life Science projects for Antaes Asia clients
  • Conducts activities of equipment power supply and control in order to assure the proper functioning of the plant. Moves raw material and process solvents received by Production Warehouse personnel
  1. Loads production equipment and conducts activities aimed to put instruments, services and planting the right conditions to perform in the planned condition required by Manufacturing Formulas, operating procedures or Shift Manager dispositions.
  2. Documents of all the activities executed or to be executed signing and dating the official production documentation.
  3. Communicates and collaborates Shift Manager / Production Support for all the operations to be executed, in solving any anomalies occurred and suggesting possible solutions
  4. Autonomously assures the regularity of the production operations (reactions, distillation, transfers etc. etc.) verifying on the control panels and control instruments (DCS, alarms, etc.) the process parameters
  5. Collaborates with the Warehouse to pick up materials (raw material and / or process solvents) from delivery areas to the shop floor communicating also to the Shift Manager, critical situations (quantities verification, codes, batch number, etc.).
  6. Transfers liquids from trucks to tanks storage and vice versa.
  • Reports any anomalies to instruments or equipment to maintain a high efficiency and safety level in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices
  1. Maintains a high level of cleaning in the working area dedicating parts of the working hours to housekeeping operations of the department areas and equipment following the instruction of the Shift Manager/Production Control
  • Contributes to eliminate inefficiencies and waste
  1. During the shift, controls that the work progress in line with scheduling. Assures registration of SIC (Short Interval Control) data which contributes to the control program DWOR (Daily Weekly Operating Report)
  2. Analyses with the Shift Manager / Production Support unexpected causes of negative trends
  • Identifies inefficiencies and wastes paying attention to quality in the operative activities and processes/products using tools of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement (root cause analysis, problem solving, workshops, 5S)
  • Chemical Technician is expected to support for Manufacturing Shift supervisor as required
  • Contribute to the promotion of Antaes services on top of assistance provided to client.

Your profile

Job Requirements:

  • NITEC/ Diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent technical related degree is required.
  • At least 2 - 4 years of experience in working in a chemical or cGMP manufacturing environment required and record maintenance
  • Able to work comfortably in 12-hour rotating shift (Day/Night)
  • Comfortable to lift 15kg
  • Comfortable with outdoors environment
  • Comfortable with respiratory protection for at least 3 continuous hours
  • Good problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Description

  • Contribute to Life Science projects for Antaes Asiaclients.
  • Develop and execute C&Q documentation including commissioning protocols, SAT reports, IQ/OQ/PQ protocols, summary reports, and traceability matrices. 
  • End-to-end C&Q lifecycle support for process, utility, and support systems—e.g., bioreactors, chromatography skids, filtration units, CIP/SIP, WFI, HVAC, autoclaves, and clean utilities. 
  • Manage the execution of commissioning and qualification activities in line with project schedules, safety standards, and GMP compliance. 
  • Support automation qualification (DeltaV, PLC, SCADA) and ensure integration with process control systems. 
  • Review vendor documentation and coordinate SAT with suppliers and engineering teams. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during C&Q execution. 
  • Ensure all C&Q deliverables meet internal Quality and Validation standards, and align with the site Validation Master Plan (VMP).
  • Support the handover of qualified systems to Manufacturing and Maintenance teams, including training and documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, QA Validation, Manufacturing, and Automation.
  • Contribute to promoting Antaes services in addition to providing assistance to clients.
