About the role

We are recruiting an Industrial Metrology Engineer - Dimensional Control (M/F) on a permanent contract to join our industrial expertise division, as part of a large-scale, long-term project to expand our partner's activities.

 

As an Industrial Metrology Engineer - Dimensional Control, your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Perform physical measurements using three-dimensional inspection equipment such as coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), laser trackers, and Faro polyarticulated measuring arms.
  • Ensure the programming, validation, and optimization of 3D measurement programs, ensuring their performance and compliance with metrological requirements.
  • As a leader in three-dimensional metrology, you also play a training role for internal teams. In this capacity, you assist technicians in learning how to use 3D equipment and applying best measurement practices.
  • Develop and implement metrology procedures, instruction sheets, and related monitoring documents.
  • Write inspection reports by analyzing, interpreting, and utilizing measurement results and statistical data.
  • You will occasionally visit suppliers in Europe (approximately 10% of the time), where you will carry out checks during the manufacturing process, analyze non-conformities, and write the associated reports.

Your profile

  • A degree in engineering or equivalent in metrology, or proven experience in the field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in metrology and quality control in an industrial setting (machinery/mechanical engineering).
  • Expertise in manufacturing processes for mechanical parts: machining, forging, welding, etc.
  • Proficiency in conventional measurement methods.
  • Knowledge of metrology software: PC-DMIS, PolyWorks, CAM2 Faro, Wenzel Quartis, Metrolog, Silma X4 (a plus).
  • Diligence, independence, and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a demanding, project-oriented environment.
  • Good command of French (spoken and written).
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.

Job Description:

  • Contribute to Life Science projects for Antaes Asia clients.
  • Work with cross functional team in providing Quality oversight in computerized system life cycle procedure and ensure compliance to GXP standards and company policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to establish systems for ensuring Data integrity, compliance to CSV Plan and 21CFR Part 11.
  • Act as one of the key focal points for CSV topics such as deviations, change management, investigations, CAPA identification and closure, and as a Subject Matter Expert.
  • Generate, review and execute protocols / test case for initial validation programs related to GXP Computer systems. -e.g. Qualifications protocols - Software qualification, Input/Output loop verification, hardware qualification.
  • Review and approve qualification documentations like URS, SLIA (system level impact assessment)/ CLIA (component level impact assessment), SRA (System Risk Assessment), DIRA/ DSA (Data security, audit trail review), DQ, SIOQ, HIOQ, FAT, FATSR, Traceability Matrix etc.
  • Ensure adherence to CSV master plans and execution plans for GXP computer systems like DCS, PLC, BMS, MES, eBR, Lab Information systems, Environmental monitoring systems and other Business IT systems like Maximo, Network and ERP systems that are part of the GMP envelope.
  • Any other tasks assigned.
  • Contribute to the promotion of Antaes services on top of assistance provided to clients.
