About the role

We are recruiting a Production Planner - Watchmaking M/F on a permanent contract to join our Industrial Expertise division as part of a large-scale, long-term project to expand the activities of our partner based in Geneva.

 

As a Production Planner - Watchmaking, your responsibilities will include:

 

 

  • Materialize flow constraints in planning tools (series planning, new products, crimping monitoring).
  • Work with the operations teams to develop and validate production plans that meet PTF demand.
  • Manage capacity and inventory levels in line with long-term strategic objectives and short-term operational constraints.
  • Implement palliative solutions in the event of deviations, analyze the impacts, and ensure they are communicated.
  • Ensure that the load/capacity ratio of critical positions is adequate over the portfolio horizon.
  • Actively contribute to the development of the budget.
  • Develop different budget scenarios in partnership with the operating sectors in order to identify the best compromise.
  • Develop and ensure the feasibility of the qualification and delivery schedule for new products (NP).
  • Actively participate in project follow-up meetings led by project managers.
  • Ensure coordination with the S&OP planner and the relevant flow planners.
  • Lead and coordinate the creation and updating of related master data.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a university of applied sciences (HES), a Federal Institute of Technology (EPF), or an equivalent institution, with a specialization in mechanical engineering, microtechnology, or manufacturing.
  • Solid knowledge of process industrialization and related tools.
  • Proficiency in the fundamentals of the supply chain.
  • Proven professional experience in supply chain management (at least 8 years) in complex environments (large organizations, multi-site operations, international settings).
  • Proficiency in computer software: MS Office (particularly Excel for advanced analysis), SAP; knowledge of Kinaxis is a plus.
  • Excellent listening skills and the ability to come up with ideas.
  • Strong communication skills, with a clear and concise writing style, and a strong team spirit.
  • Strong analytical skills and a high degree of independence.
  • A meticulous, organized, and conscientious person.
  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to explain complex topics in simple terms.
