Location: Lake Geneva region, Switzerland

Position: Full-time, on-site, 1 day of remote work

 

 

For industrial engineering projects, we are seeking anexperienced project manager specializing in utilities and HVACto lead on-site infrastructure and technical improvement projects.

 

The role involves contributing to the implementation of capital projects and resolving technical issues related to utility and energy systems.

 

 

Primary responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical studies from the design phase through to completion, in accordance with the specifications and site standards.
  • Manage utility, energy, and HVAC systems for industrial projects (safety management, budgeting, scheduling, progress tracking, and technical coordination).
  • Draft technical specifications for supplier solicitations and oversee studies conducted by external partners.
  • Manage orders and monitor suppliers and service providers.
  • Supervise on-site work as a site manager and ensure that construction projects run smoothly.
  • Assist with the commissioning of facilities (adjustments, tests, test protocols).
  • Provide technical support to operational teams as a subject matter expert.
  • Help define the site’s energy and HVAC strategy, particularly in the development of a multi-year master plan.

 

Examples of topics that may be addressed as part of the assignment:

  • Boiler retrofitting or modernization (process and automation)
  • Condensate Optimization and Recovery
  • Management and Modernization of HVAC Systems (Obsolescence Management)
  • Contribution to the development of an energy and HVAC master plan for the site
  • Other projects related to industrial utilities and energy efficiency

Your profile

  • Diplôme d’ingénieur HES ou équivalent en génie industriel, énergie, utilités ou HVAC.
  • Environ 15 ans d’expérience ou plus en ingénierie industrielle.
  • Expérience confirmée en gestion de projets techniques, idéalement en bureau d’études ou environnement industriel.
  • Expérience dans la coordination de prestataires et d’entreprises externes.
  • Bonnes capacités de communication et aptitude à travailler avec des interlocuteurs variés.
  • Maîtrise du français et bon niveau d’anglais professionnel.
  • Bonne maîtrise des outils informatiques et des logiciels de gestion de projet.
