Structuring data and advising business teams:
Conduct functional workshops to gather and analyze requirements, and provide feedback
Work closely with data-producing and data-using business teams to define exposed business objects and ensure the associated level of documentation.
Data Modeling: define and map relationships between objects at a conceptual level in collaboration with the architecture team
Provide concrete ways of developing the Data team's strategy based on the data collected.
Identify Data Quality rules to enrich the company's data capital
Advise the team on the technical design of data models, thanks to its understanding of data and its impact on data activities (data integration, reporting, data analysis).
Coordinate with Data Office teams to ensure compliance with best practices in data governance
Document and enrich databases:
Monitor databases and identify areas for content expansion
Identify alternatives when data is not available in the database
Report data structuring and integration needs to the Data Architect
Data Quality: propose KPIs in relation to data quality issues and suggest rules for improving quality.
Enhance the data catalog to ensure quality lineage and technical-functional documentation
Raising awareness and educating people about data:
Ensures that the team understands and uses the analyses, contributes to the team's understanding by regularly presenting its analyses
Work with BI teams to optimize reporting requirements
Educate and raise awareness among the team about access to data
Promote the sharing of best practices in terms of data management
4 to 5 years' higher education in computer engineering and/or statistical studies
Initial experience as an Analyst / Data Specialist / Data Consultant / Data Engineer is required.
Knowledge of large dataset environments, relational databases (SQL) and data governance software (Data Catalog, MDM)
Competence in database modeling
Data mapping skills
Knowledge of data related to the watchmaking industry would be a plus
Ability to work in cross-functional project teams with internal and external stakeholders, including internationally.
