About the role

We are recruiting an Industrial IT Engineer (F/H) on a permanent contract to join our centre of expertise, as part of a large-scale, long-term project to expand our partner's activities in the canton of Neuchâtel.

 

As an Industrial IT Engineer, your responsibilities will include :

 

  • Design, develop and maintain software applications specific to industrial machines, using programming languages such as Python and C#.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate software into special machines, ensuring compatibility and performance.
  • Work on the integration of Rockwell solutions for machine control systems.
  • Set up Cisco networks to ensure robust connectivity between the various system components.
  • Manage and maintain VMWARE virtualized environments to optimize IT resources and ensure greater flexibility.
  • Collaborate in setting up and improving production execution management systems (MES) to optimize data collection and process traceability.

  • You have been working in an industrial environment for at least 5 years
  • Solid programming skills with particular expertise in Python and C#.
  • In-depth knowledge of Rockwell solutions for machine control.
  • Experience in configuring and managing Cisco networks.
  • Mastery of the VMWARE virtualization environment.
  • Familiarity with MES systems and their integration in industrial environments.
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
