About the role

Context:

  • Capital Market IT applications (in-house and package) used worldwide, covering Front Office (Murex, Apex, Orchestrade...), Back Office (Summit, Calypso...), Market data referential (Asset Control...), Market Risk (in-house application on big data technologies).
  • This role aims to develop on the Calypso back-office package, in project mode as well as maintenance, and to support the "run the bank" function. It requires a deep understanding of the nature of business operations, timing of activities & data flowing through internal and external systems. The build and support team continuously works with business users, infrastructure engineers and system managers.

Job Description:

  • Contribute to IT initiatives for Antaes Asia clients
  • Build & change management
  1. Analyse enhancement requests for the repo business and new products.
  2. Propose solutions in collaboration with Architects.
  3. Specifications, workload estimates, planning, test scenarios, release documentation.
  4. Coordinate user acceptance tests.
  5. Monthly releases, following the team's milestones for analysis, coding and testing.
  6. Support the release roadmap in production.
  • Incidents and Requests management (business users and other IT teams.
  1. Application support, level 3 (expert).
  2. Troubleshoot and fix issues/bugs.
  • Continuous improvement
  1. Improve operational processes.
  2. Coach more junior team members as required.
  • Contribute to the promotion of Antaes services on top of assistance provided to clients

Your profile

Job Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science or related fields
  • Minimum 8 years working experience in relevant roles.
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Calypso business analyst on Calypso back office.
  • Experience on Calypso versions v14 to v17.
  • In depth knowledge of Static Data, Workflows, ScheduledTask, Confirmations, Settlements, Messages / Swift messages, Positions, Accounting, Corporate action, Filters, Reporting Framework, Reconciliation features.
  • Understanding of financial assets (repos, bonds, SLB, issuances) and trade lifecycle.
  • Experience with regulatory reporting HRF, NORIA, MMSR.
  • Experience in interfacing Calypso with external systems.
  • Hands-on experience in implementation projects.
  • AGILE track record.
  • Experience in implementing NR scenarios.
  • Willing to do L3 Support if required.
  • Willing to do On-call rotation with team mates to cover night and week-end support.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Pro-active mind-set in security
  • Proven ability to work individually under pressure
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Very good communication skills and keen to work with business users.

Working Hours

  • Work in shift for ASIA or EMEA region: (9am - 6:30pm SGT) or (3pm - midnight SGT).
  • On-call rotation with team mates to cover night and week-end support.
