About the role

Job Description:

  • Contribute to Life Science projects for Antaes Asia clients
  • Oversee material management processes, ensuring accurate forecasting, procurement, and inventory control to meet production and operational needs.
  • Ensure timely availability of materials while optimizing inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth supply chain operations and address any material supply issues.
  • Manage material orders using JDE (JD Edwards), including the creation, tracking, and updating of purchase orders.
  • Ensure accurate data entry in the JDE system for order creation, material receipts, and inventory tracking.
  • Monitor order status, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with the procurement and warehouse teams to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Work closely with production, quality, and procurement teams to ensure materials are available as per the production schedule and business requirements.
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure compliance with delivery schedules, quantity, and quality requirements.
  • Maintain and update inventory levels in the JDE system, ensuring stock accuracy and minimizing the risk of material shortages or overstocking.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and ensure that inventory is aligned with production and business demands.
  • Continuously monitor supply chain performance and identify areas for process improvement to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing material flow, reducing lead times, and improving vendor performance.
  • Contribute to the promotion of Antaes services on top of assistance provided to clients

Your profile

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or any related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management or materials management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Hands-on experience with JDE (JD Edwards) or similar ERP systems for material and order management.
  • Strong knowledge of material planning, procurement, and inventory control processes.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) in supply chain management is a plus.
