About the role

Context:

  • Decommissioning of a trading platform for Bonds business activity to a main front office target platform.
  • The senior developer will lead a future team of developers. The team will be fully allocated to this project and will be part of a multi-site project team.
  • The position involves working to develop code under modern standards, including possible cloud-readiness.

Job Description:

  • Provide functional and technical expertise on KONDOR+ and other in-house bank applications.
  • Requests management (users and others IT teams)
  • Operations management
  • Application monitoring
  • Incident Management
  • Problem Management
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Must be able to mentor new/junior resources, impart knowledge and collaborate effectively within TSY and whole CMI.
  • Self-motivated and starter with demonstrated ability to lead initiatives explore latest market standards and tools to gain time and cost efficiency.
  • Flexibility to accept additional responsibilities and be able to multi-task.
  • The Support analyst should have a pro-active mindset in security, incident preventive measures, productivity and global improvement of the quality of service.
  • Must be flexible to participate in post business hours activities such as but not limited to overnight on-calls, weekend interventions, DRP, releases and other application activities that can be performed only outside the business duration/weekends.

Job Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & Systems Analysis, Science (Computer Studies), or related fields
  • 5-7 years of experience in Production Support of financial systems
  • Strong knowledge of KONDOR+ application for 3+ years or 3+ years of experience in IT Support for another Capital Markets applications
  • ITIL certification/knowledge.
  • Knowledge of major market regulatory body's rules is an advantage
  • Exposure to Capital Markets applications (E.g. Summit, Kondor+, Murex, Calypso... is an advantage
  • Should be able to do SLA & KPI management, Client communication & interaction
  • Predictive analysis, consulting, escalation management
  • Risk analysis and project execution
  • Knowledge of Capital Market FO/BO environment is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of Configuration Management
  • Strong knowledge in XML, SQL, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting, MQ Series, CFT, and Control-M.
  • Knowledge of monitoring solutions like ITRS Geneos is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical or troubleshooting skills

  • Operations: Execute the maintenance operations, delivery and environment monitoring.
  • L3: Operate as L3 on non-production environments for delivery teams and also on production for support teams.
