About the role
Job Description
- Contribute to Life Science projects for Antaes Asia clients
- Review and familiarize with Automation systems used on site.
- Execute and review SAT protocol/reports.
- Assist Automation Engineer in commissioning.
- Support Engineers in documentation (SOPs, Work Instructions, Risk Assessments etc).
- Assist Engineers in creating and reviewing maintenance procedures / maintenance plans.
- Support Automation System PQ.
- Provides trouble shooting / continuous improvements to processes / systems. Maintain high GMP standard meeting the regulatory expectations such that the site is always inspection ready.
- Monitor and enforce compliance measures (including Data Integrity and safety) within their specific discipline to ensure inspection readiness of plant, as well as participate as an audit team member in the conduct of audits.
- Monitor and manage the DCS/PLC systems to ensure constant and reliable support to the plant at all times so as to minimize disruption to the production process.
- Contribute to the promotion of Antaes services on top of assistance provided to clients
Your profile
Requirements
- 5-10 years' experience as Pharma Engineer with Controls experience in the process / pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in Delta V system, especially batch process.
- Experience in SIL calculation and TMR system (Honeywell Safety Manager) will be added advantage.
- Experience in the Siemen PLC system will be added advantage.
- Good understanding of validation process, calibration and preventive maintenance.
- Familiar and understanding of Global Engineering Standard (GES) and understanding of industrial standards.
- Effective communication & Operational Excellence skills.
- Show high level of initiatives.
- Knowledge in Alarm management system, LCS ( Local Control Station ) with push buttons, selector switch, ammeter, voltmeter and emergency stop. FRP enclosure with ingress protection, PEMS (Portable Emissions Measurement Systems), Building management system, Emergency system & Commission automation system

The project :
- Develop, test and validate software enhancements for CNC machine tools.
- Optimize software performance and stay at the cutting edge of technology.
- Collaborate with other engineers to integrate software solutions.
- Maintain existing software and provide technical support to users.
Project Manager - Equipment Design
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager in Equipment Design to lead the development, design, and implementation of process equipment within a regulated environment. You will oversee technical design activities from concept to qualification, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, project timelines, and GMP requirements.
Your role:
- Lead equipment design projects from feasibility through to commissioning and qualification.
- Coordinate mechanical, automation, and process design activities with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and review technical specifications, design documentation, and FAT/SAT protocols.
- Manage supplier relationships, including technical alignment, design reviews, and project follow-up.
- Ensure budget and schedule control across all project phases.
- Oversee change management and risk assessment related to equipment design and modifications.
- Support CQV teams during qualification phases and participate in design improvement workshops.
- Guarantee compliance with GMP, safety, and quality standards for all equipment.
