About the role

Design and development :

  • design and develop scripts and tools to automate development, testing and deployment processes in collaboration with the team
  • set up and manage continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with the team

Infrastructure management :

  • configure and manage infrastructures (Linux VMs, Windows VMs, OpenShift) in coordination with the DevOps team
  • ensure application operation, server configuration, middleware and Perl & Java runtime environment
  • monitor and optimize infrastructure and application performance
  • work with architects on projects to upgrade and manage the obsolescence of the technical infrastructure

Safety and compliance :

  • work with the CISO team to implement security practices to protect data and systems
  • ensure compliance with current standards and regulations

Collaboration and support :

  • work with development teams to solve build, deployment and performance problems
  • provide technical support and solutions to incidents and operational problems

Monitoring and maintenance :

  • maintain and upgrade monitoring tools to guarantee application availability and performance
  • maintain and update systems and infrastructures

Documentation and knowledge sharing :

  • document processes, configurations and solutions implemented
  • share knowledge and best practices with team members

Continuous improvement :

  • identify and implement improvements to existing processes and systems

Your profile

Required training

  • University degree or higher professional diploma in information systems

Compulsory powers

  • at least 5 years' proven experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar role
  • proven experience in administering and/or operating Linux systems
  • proficiency in configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet
  • experience in managing complex applications in an OpenShift environment (or on-premise Kubernetes)
  • experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or Jenkins
  • good understanding of security practices and network concepts
  • excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • ability to work in a team and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • scripting and programming skills (Python, Bash, Perl, Ruby, etc.)
  • good level of expression in French

Additional asset skills

  • knowledge of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux platform
  • experience with middleware: Oracle DB, PostgreSql, MySQL, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ
  • experience on CheckMK, RunDeck, Ansible, SonarQube, GitLab, Splunk products
  • experience in Java and/or Perl application deployment
  • experience in coordinating infrastructure service providers

For industrial engineering projects, we are seeking anexperienced project manager specializing in utilities and HVACto lead on-site infrastructure and technical improvement projects.

 

The role involves contributing to the implementation of capital projects and resolving technical issues related to utility and energy systems.

 

 

Primary responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical studies from the design phase through to completion, in accordance with the specifications and site standards.
  • Manage utility, energy, and HVAC systems for industrial projects (safety management, budgeting, scheduling, progress tracking, and technical coordination).
  • Draft technical specifications for supplier solicitations and oversee studies conducted by external partners.
  • Manage orders and monitor suppliers and service providers.
  • Supervise on-site work as a site manager and ensure that construction projects run smoothly.
  • Assist with the commissioning of facilities (adjustments, tests, test protocols).
  • Provide technical support to operational teams as a subject matter expert.
