About the role

Coordination of site activities:

  • Organize and plan on-site work in close collaboration with the project manager and operational teams.
  • Coordinate the various trades (plumbing, electrical, civil engineering, etc.) and external service providers.
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with deadlines and quality standards.

Monitoring compliance with standards and regulations:

  • Ensure that all work complies with safety, environmental and health standards in force in the chemical sector.
  • Participate in risk management, by analyzing and anticipating safety and environmental risks.

Monitoring budgets and deadlines:

  • Ensure compliance with budgets and deadlines.
  • Implement corrective actions in the event of budget or deadline slippage, and communicate any necessary adjustments to line management.

Communication and reporting:

  • Write regular progress reports on the state of work and submit these reports to stakeholders.
  • Organize regular site monitoring meetings with teams and clients to review progress.

Quality and control:

  • Ensure the quality of the work carried out and guarantee that all technical and regulatory aspects are scrupulously respected.
  • Ensure regular inspections to check work compliance and make adjustments if necessary.

Human resources and logistics:

  • Manage on-site teams and optimize available human and material resources.
  • Ensure the supply of materials and equipment required for the smooth running of the work.

Your profile

  • Training in construction, civil engineering or a technical field related to the chemical industry (e.g. chemical engineering, process engineering, etc.).
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience as a site coordinator in the chemical industry or a similar industrial sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety standards and regulations in the chemical sector.
  • Project management and site supervision skills.
  • Proficiency in IT tools (MS Project, Excel, site management software).
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage several projects in parallel.
  • Good communication skills, autonomy and thoroughness.
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
