About the role

We are recruiting a Supplier Quality Auditor on a permanent contract to join our industrial expertise division as part of a large-scale, long-term project to expand our partner's activities.

 

As a Supplier Quality Auditor Inspector, your responsibilities will include :

 

  • Implement and manage rigorous supplier qualification processes to maintain and develop a high-performance panel adapted to the company's needs.
  • Carry out audits and compliance monitoring of suppliers, covering technical aspects, quality management systems, health-safety-environment and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuously improve the quality assurance of assigned suppliers.
  • Work closely with the Purchasing department to develop and implement the most appropriate sourcing strategy.
  • Ensure coordination between suppliers, engineering, production and procurement to improve quality while reducing associated costs, particularly in connection with OTD.
  • Define, manage and adjust the supplier audit plan in agreement with all stakeholders.
  • Carry out external audits at subcontractors in Switzerland and abroad, with regular travel (approx. 80%).
  • Work closely with the supplier inspection team responsible for monitoring production.
  • Help suppliers analyze root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor the application of corrective measures with suppliers to deal with deviations identified during audits or product non-conformity inspections.
  • Organize and lead regular quality reviews based on supplier evaluation sheets.

Your profile

  • Technical diploma in mechanics or electromechanics.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in supplier management and procurement.
  • Proven experience in quality control and process evaluation.
  • Audit experience, ideally ISO 9001 certified.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and non-conformance management skills.
  • Excellent ability to interpret drawings, technical specifications and evaluate manufacturing processes.
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Mobility and availability for regular travel.
