About the role

Job Description:

  • Contribute to Life Science projects for Antaes Asia clients
  • Develop, manage, and monitor the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to ensure production meets demand forecasts and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and procurement teams to balance production capacities and optimize resource utilization.
  • Adjust the MPS as nedeed to address changes in demand, material availability, and manufacturing capacities.
  • Use JDE (JD Edwards) to manage and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes.
  • Ensure accurate BOM setup and timely MRP runs to determine material needs for production and prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Analyse MRP data to generate purchase requisitions, production orders, and ensure on-time delivery of materials.
  • Work closely with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available as per the MPS and production schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels and provide insights for optimizing stock while minimizing excess inventory and ensuring material availability for production.
  • Perform regular analysis of material usage and forecast demand to anticipate future needs and adjust planning accordingly.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution of production plans, addressing any issues that arise during manufacturing.
  • Work with procurement and suppliers to resolve material availability issues and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Identify areas for process improvement within planning and scheduling workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve production planning accuracy.
  • Use data from JDE and other systems to generate reports and metrics, providing insights for better decision-making.
  • Contribute to the promotion of Antaes services on top of assistance provided to clients

Your profile

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in production planning, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
  • Experience with MPS (Master Production Schedule) and strong understanding of demand planning processes
  • Hands-on experience with JDE (JD Edwards), specifically in managing BOM (Bill of Materials) and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) modules
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast demand and manage inventory effectively
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Knowledge of cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) is a plus
