About the role

Job Description:

  • Contribute to Life Science projects for Antaes Asia clients
  • Ensure operational knowledge is applied and compliant based on approved Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Perform sampling of products from process equipment in accordance with SOP.
  • Actively monitor process trend and response to alarms observed on control panel DCS Delta V control system and on PLC HMI.
  • Provide inputs for investigation - impact assessment and appropriate CAPA
  • Responsible for the completeness and accuracy of all records according to GMP standards.
  • Perform routine equipment cleaning (manual cleaning, CIP and COP) as per approved instructions and SOP.
  • Responsible for maintaining the upkeep of the plant, perform regular housekeeping of all rooms and ensure issues are highlighted timely ensuring that the plant is always in audit ready mode.
  • Manage and ensure proper collection, segregation and disposal of chemical waste in accordance to SOP.
  • Ensure a safe work environment in accordance with regulatory and global/local EHS policies
  • Sound fundamental understanding of process safety, cleaning changeover recipes and unit operations in API manufacturing.
  • Effectively communicates with team members on process status throughout the shift and during handover. Communicates all events/issues effectively with Supervisor.
  • Assists in execution of commissioning and validation protocols as required.
  • Completes all assigned scheduled trainings, OJT, JSA, ILT and Read and Understand procedures
  • Ensures processes are running as per planned schedule with minimal delays. Highlights effectively to shift supervisor if delays are expected.
  • Responsible for maintaining good Data Integrity standards.
  • Ad-hoc duties as assigned by Supervisor.
  • Contribute to the promotion of Antaes services on top of assistance provided to client.

Job Requirements:

  • NITEC/ Diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent technical related degree is required.
  • At least 1 years of experience in working in a chemical or GMP manufacturing environment required.
  • Working experience with DeltaV and MES Systems
  • Able to work comfortably in 12-hour rotating shift (Day/Night).
  • Good problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
