About the role

Job Scope:

The Project Manager needs to have strong management, presentation and communication skills with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager on Finance and banking-related applications. He/She will work closely with the business users to understand the project, estimate, plan, execute, monitor and control the project. Manage the user and team relationship throughout the projects. He/She should be very good at stakeholder management. Good to know about banking domains and activities (Front Office, Back Office, Trading) especially in the Wealth Management area.

Knowledge and experience in the Credit and Risk functions in the Wealth Management (Private Banking).

Responsibilities:

  • Define the project scope, objectives, and goals
  • Estimation and budget follow-up
  • Preparing task list with schedule and identify the risks
  • Assigning tasks to team members, overseeing the work, and managing the issues.
  • Understand the release process and tools and follow the bank standards and policies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams
  • Follow-up on delivery from contributor as well as own development team.
  • Make sure methodology and processes are respected
  • Produce clear and comprehensive status reports
  • Produce Steering Committee documents and present to Sponsors
  • Understand user's requirements/concerns
  • Ensure good quality of the documentation
  • Coordinate with multiple Technical teams, Infrastructure and testing teams to deliver the projects

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 5 years of Project Management experience in Banking Systems; preferably for Credit Risk functions
  • Knowledge on Credit Risk
  • Financial Instruments
  • Rating for Financial Instruments and Rating Agencies
  • Derivative products: FX Forwards, FX Options, Equity Options
  • WM products like Credit Lines, Loans etc.,
  • Regulatory
  • Knowledge on Financial Instruments:
  • Different types of instruments
  • Referential data
  • Prices, Ratings, Exchange rates, Money Market rates
  • Underlying assets, Indices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, managers, subject matter experts and technical teams.
  • Knowledge and experience in Agile/Scrum practices
  • Familiar with project management tools as well as issue and release management, production and support (JIRA, Service Now, PPM tools, etc)
